Inspired by the freedom and freedom of a bird's flight, the original Night Birds pendant lamps will infuse the interior with poetic charm and unprecedented dynamism. The Night Birds collection differs from other collections in its unique processing, which consists of the demanding technology of melting glass into a mold and its subsequent bending. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve subtle nuances in the shape of wings and each time a different and unique coloring of the glass.

Simplicity and directness are emphasized by the minimalist LED light source embedded in a frame made of brushed, lacquered aluminum. The collection consists of three types of lamps with different wing shapes. These represent the three phases of bird flight.

The technological procedures used for the Night Birds collection are based on the principles of recycling, sustainability and gentle ecological production. The starting raw material for the production of lighting fixtures is glass waste produced during the production of other BROKIS collections. The recycled glass material then goes through several stages of processing, which combine classic glassmaking techniques (hand grinding, sandblasting) and modern ones (melting in a mold, cutting with a water jet, shaping in a mold). The result of this combination is a unique product that combines tradition with modernity, and each piece is an unrepeatable original with its own story. The center of the Night Birds light is a positionable, hand-turned aluminum frame that serves as a cover for the light source.

The Brokis brand, founded by the successful Czech entrepreneur Jan Rabel, revives the tradition of Czech glassmaking. In 1997, Rabell bought the historic Janštejn glassworks and in 2006 founded the Brokis brand with the ambition to modernize and restore traditional glassmaking techniques.
