The porcelain Lungo mug has a volume of 150 ml and its saucer measures 5.2 cm x 7 cm x 7 cm.

The porcelain Espresso mug has a volume of 70 ml and its saucer measures 5.2 cm x 5.2 cm x 5.2 cm.

Použití a péče

The saucer is treated with a natural mixture of waxes and oils. The coffee will not leave stains, just wipe with a damp cloth.

Clean porcelain dishes with mild soap and warm water. Never use abrasive cleaners or wire sponges, they could scratch the porcelain. We recommend hand washing.

ClapDesign products are produced in a family carpentry shop in Hukvaldy, which is well-known in the surrounding area. Since 1930, they have been producing windows, doors and staircases for neighbors from the entire region. Today, their products bring you joy while dining, in the kitchen, or over coffee.

Jiří Pelcl

Academic architect Prof. Jiří Pelcl is a recognized personality in Czech design. It focuses on the creation of designs for public and private spaces, architecture, furniture designs, glass and porcelain. He recently led the Furniture and Interior Design Studio at UMPRUM, where he also served as rector between 2002 and 2005. Jiří Pelcl's work is part of the collections of a number of Czech and international institutions, such as the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague, Die Neue Sammlung in Munich or the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich. On Neatlane, you can find his creations at the brands Clap Design or Master & Master.

Clap Design

The Clap Design brand they founded in 2017Lukáš PejchalandVaclav Teajanek, brings exceptional design and playfulness to Czech kitchens and dining rooms. An innovative team of designers focuses on creating original kitchen and dining accessories that have been loved by a wide base of customers and experts thanks to their magnetic elements.

The Clap Design brand came up with the idea of creating a coffee service that would have a funny way of holding the spoon. After researching the market, Lukáš and Václav discovered that they had discovered a unique concept, and thus the idea was borncombination of magnet and wood. Subsequently, their portfolio expanded to include knife holders, cutting boards and salt and pepper mills. It was the "clap" sound that the grinders make when they are put together that inspired kbrand name.

Clap Design products are manufactured in Václavovfamily carpentry shop in Hukvaldy, where they work mainly with local oak wood known for its quality, durability and aesthetic appearance. In the future, they plan to work on other materials, such as metal or concrete.
